So I’m out in Indy with 6 of my students at the FFA National Convention. Four of my students competed in the FFA National Floriculture Career Development Event yesterday and today because they won first place in Ohio last year! We have had an awesome time so far because we have listed to Keynote speaker, Mike Rowe, from Dirty Jobs at opening ceremonies and went to see Toby Keith in concert with the Eli Young Band. It was great because for many of my students, it was their first time at a concert. I just loved to see their excitement!
Today while some of my students competed, the other 2 and I went to the Indianapolis Children’s museum. We had so much fun because there was a King Tut exhibit and there were dinosaurs! When I get home and get the pictures on my computer, I will definitely get some posted. Hope everyone is having a wonderful week!

Today’s wedding was so much fun! From the creative bouquets with yellow celosia, orange mini callas, red roses, brown fern fronds, green cymbidium orchids and green hypericum berries to the amazing centerpieces, Ellie and I had so much fun! The pictures aren’t the best, but here is a preview for you. As soon as I get pictures from Mary Wyar Photography I will get them up!

Wow! Three weddings this weekend has me crazy busy! My workroom is a huge spread of fall colors with one wedding being deep purple/black and red, and another red/orange/yellow/white. The third one is completely different in dark and light pink, white, green and light pink. All of them are going to be gorgeous in their own way! I can’t wait to begin putting everything together tomorrow!
