It was a gorgeous day for a wedding on Saturday! Katelyn and Brian got married in Oak Harbor at St. John’s Lutheran Church and their reception was at Maumee Bay State Park. Sorry I forgot to take pictures of the bouquets but they were gorgeous as well! I’m sure Danielle Luc Photography did a great job because she was everywhere! Can’t wait to see!
So I usually blog at home so when I think “oh I need to blog about new flowers” I could just go into my back room and take some pictures. Now that I have the flower shop, whenever I think that I can’t go take pictures! But today I remembered to take some! YEAH!

Check out these amazing purple (yep true purple) garden roses we got in on Friday! We’re so lucky that Nora, at Mayesh Wholesale, knows how fun and funky Beautiful Blooms by Jen’s style is. We didn’t even have to ask for them, she sent them because she saw them and immediately thought of us. Such an awesome relationship with our wholesaler means that we’re constantly getting new and different product than the other florists and it means we can make arrangements that are as unique as you! And for all you ’11 Brides, Plum is a huge color for the next season and wouldn’t these roses match perfectly? The smell is to die for, they’re so fragrant that the whole store smells like Spring! Just imagine how cool a Christmas centerpiece would look with theses roses, lime green orchids, red amaryllis and jewel tone miniture ornament balls! Talk about Wow Factor!

Check out our newest featured Bride, Kara Butler. Kara and Bryan got married at Stone Ridge Country Club in Bowling Green on May 22, 2010 (Where Jen is getting married next July!). She had a beautiful assortment of peonies, hydrangea, spray roses, and even orchids! I especially loved doing the tall cylinder arrangements because we got to string orchids on the new metallic wire and then we submerged them and some of the arrangements had floating candles while others had the floral pieces on top. Such a spectacular way to showcase a beautiful event. With a special thanks to Grand Lubell Photography for capturing such gorgeous photos of the bouquets and centerpieces.

Yeah, so in case you haven’t noticed, I have TWO wedding photographers! I couldn’t decide and actually wish I could have more since there are so many awesome photographers in Toledo and it was so hard to pick!

Sorry it has been so long since my last post! I have totally been slacking, but this whole teaching full time/running a flower shop is keeping me a bit busy : )
I am pretty much in heaven hanging out at the flower shop each day! My junior year of high school is when I decided I wanted to own my own flower shop, so this is a long time coming!
