We went to a prom show a couple weeks ago and this is a sneak peak of pictures Julie from JP Photography took for us. Aren’t they so cool?
The show was at DWF which is one of our Toledo Wholesale florists and was attended by many Northwest Ohio Florists.
Sarah, one of the new Beautiful Blooms by Jen employees is a Floral Design student at Ohio State ATI and competed in the 22nd Annual Wayne County Home and Garden Show on April 28th and 29th. She competed in three categories. The first was “Help the Bride pick her style” and Sarah chose to do classically modern. She won first place with the design below!
The second category was “Tailgater’s Delight” for the sports fanatic.
The final category was “Opening Day” a designer’s choice piece for the opening of a new business. Didn’t she do great?

What a beautiful wedding! I can’t tell you how many people wanted to buy their flowers during the week and were super disappointed to hear they were for a wedding! Don’t you love the colors?!
The reception was at the gorgeous Parkway Place. I hope you enjoyed the pictures. I’ll share more once Blue Martini Photography shares. I know Christin’s will be 100 million times better than mine!
Both weddings this weekend have coral in them but are completely different. Our first wedding in Toledo is at St. Pat’s Heatherdowns and Parkway Place. Nicole look at these amazing peonies! I can’t wait to start playing with them all!
We’re traveling down to Columbus again this weekend for a wedding of some friends from college! They got married in Jamaica a couple weeks ago and now their reception is in Columbus and we’re so excited to be a part of it! It’s a beachy theme! I’m so honored that Jeff and Kait asked me to be their florist!
We went to a prom show on Wednesday and had so much fun! Although we have been using these new techniques and creating these fabulous styles on keepsake bracelets for years, Toledo florists were in for an awakening! We’ll see if anyone else tries any of what they learned!
We love the bracelets and gluing techniques and are always looking for new ideas. Check out a few of our favorite corsages we saw at the show.
What do you think?
Please call Beautiful Blooms by Jen at 419-517-8821 or visit us at 5646 Summit St. in Sylvania, OH to order. All boutonnieres and corsages are custom orders so we prefer you to not order online. It’s way more fun to help you pick out all the details so it can be perfect. Thanks!
One day a customer walked into the shop and was excstatic to find that Meghan worked for me. She loved Meghan when she worked at Glendale, and when they did their cutbacks Meghan disappeared. Kathi has been a loyal customer since. When her daughter Aimee decided to get married in Columbus, there was no way we could say no!
Here is a little sneak peak for you! The customer provided the vases and asked Meghan to be creative and make every centerpiece different. Here are some pictures for you to enjoy!

Kim and James came in a few months ago and we whipped everything together really fast. I can’t wait for them to see everything come together! The girls are wearing black dresses and everything is in whites and corals. Here is your sneak peak!
The reception is at the Toledo Zoo. Can’t wait to show you the bride’s great idea for centerpieces! You are going to love it!
